CSR policy

Fusalp has implemented a number of measures aimed at improving its ecological impact:

  • Some of the textiles we use are totally or partially from recycled sources. Although the percentage is marginal today, this subject is a priority in the short term.
  • We have stopped using real rabbit, fox and raccoon fur.
  • Our feather and down products are certified RDS ® - Responsible Down Standard. This is a global certification standard that aims to ensure animal welfare and the traceability of feathers and down in the supply chain. It is managed by an independent certification body and was developed with the help of animal rights groups, industry experts, brands and retailers.
  • We are working to switch to using RWS ® wools - Responsible Wool Standard - from the Fall Winter 2022 collection. This is a global certification standard that aims to ensure the welfare of sheep for wool production and the traceability of wool in the supply chain. It is led by an independent certification body and was developed with the input of animal rights groups, industry experts, brands and retailers.
  • We have opened a storage point in Asia in order to reduce the transport of certain items and we give maximum priority to transport by train (the most ecological).
  • We are reducing our plastic packaging as much as possible, making it 100% recyclable.
  • All our packaging and publishing documents are made from FSC ® - Forest Stewardship Council certified wood fibers. This is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to create and promote an independent and efficient forest certification system. Created on the initiative of a group of companies, environmental associations and representatives of social rights, this independent organization's mission is to ensure, through regular monitoring of certified forests and companies, the application of specifications for responsible forest preservation management.
